Working remotely from Camps Bay

If you want a change of scene or need a dedicated office day, Cape Town has a strong coworking scene a short Uber ride away. Spaces like Workshop 17, Spaces, Neighbourgood, and Cape Town Office cover everything from quiet desks to meeting rooms, and most run on day passes or flexible monthly memberships. A typical day
Mornings in Cape Town are built for movement. Yoga classes, reformer pilates, meditation sessions, and matcha bars are everywhere, and there’s usually a run club or meet-up group happy to have you join for a morning. If you’d rather earn your coffee the hard way, the hike up Lion’s Head or Table Mountain is right there, and most routes are done and dusted before your first call.
Afternoons are for work, and for the odd cold plunge in the ocean when you need to reset between meetings. The water is cold enough to properly wake you up, and Camps Bay beach is a five-minute walk from most of our properties.
Weekends: wine farms and slow lunches
Saturdays are made for the Cape Winelands. Constantia is the closest route, with Stellenbosch and Franschhoek both under an hour’s drive. Book a table, order the tasting, and let lunch run long. Nobody here will rush you off a wine farm terrace.
Evenings on the coast
Some nights call for a picnic on the beach as the sun goes down over the Atlantic. Others call for a proper dinner. Cape Town’s restaurant scene is excellent and, compared to most cities this beautiful, still reasonably priced. Camps Bay’s beach road alone has enough options to keep a month interesting.
Getting around
You don’t need a rental car. Uber is inexpensive and reliable, and it covers everything from a morning hike drop-off to a late-night trip home from dinner. Most guests who try Cape Town without a car end up recommending it that way to the next person.
