Location: Most of the Camps Bay hotels are situated very close or in Camps Bay Village and it can be noisy in high season. The best option is to be in a cul de sac, away from the beach road but still walking distance from the beach. Parking can be a problem in season, therefore you will want to be able to walk. Camps Bay beach and village is obviously the lowest point and everything from there is slightly uphill. The further away that you stay, the steeper hill you will need to walk. The top part of Camps Bay can be extremely windy in summer.

Private pool: The benefit of renting a private villa in Camps Bay is that you have your own pool. No need to wear your burkini when you have your own pool. There will be no pool games from other people’s children disturbing your afternoon kip.

Garden: A few villas like Lion’s View and Bond Villa have a private garden area with a lawn for kids to play on.

Privacy: Need I say more? Renting a private apartment or villa will guarantee your privacy.
