Rates for 2019:
Rates are R2250 per person and R1280 for children under 12 and kids under five are free.
Transport:
We can either arrange a transfer for you from your villa or apartment in Camps Bay or you can meet in Kleinbaai / Gansbaai. The cost of the transport is R600 per person.
Kleinbaai is situated a 2 ½ hour drive from Cape Town. Therefore the drive in total is about 5hours on the road. Transport is equipped with air-conditioning and is a normal 13 seater minibus.
Pick-up times:
Pick up time ranges from 5am until 9am. The pick-up time is dependent on the tide. All the trips are weather and tide dependant. Exact pick-up times will be confirmed the afternoon before their trip, after a detailed weather and tide check has been done. Guests should be willing to get up early and this is a full day trip.
Sea sick tablets:
The Shark Cage Diving company recommends Medazine Nausea Tablets. It is very economical and guests can buy it over the counter. They recommend that they start drinking it from the afternoon before their trip, the evening, and again the morning of their trip.
Hungry?
On arrival in Gansbaai – there is a full breakfast available and a variety of hot and cold dishes, coffee/tea, juices etc.
Snacks, hot chocolate and soft drinks are included on the boat.
A light lunch of warm soup and bread is served as soon as guests return to land. Alcohol available on the guests’ own account.
What to pack:
Sun hat, warm clothes, swimming costumes, sunscreen, camera and anti-seasick medicine. Wet suits and towels are provided.
Video:
There is videographer on board that makes a video of the trip, which guests can purchase for R250.
Shower:
There are shower facilities available for guests afterwards – at an additional cost.
