If you missed out on an Easter breakaway, don’t despair, there are a few more public holidays coming up in the next few days.
On the 27th of April it is Freedom Day which makes the 28th a public holiday. On the 1st of May it’s Workers Day.
The end of April and beginning of May are my favourite months in Cape Town. Winter has lately been delayed. Therefore we have beautiful sunny weather in May and the good news is that the days are wind-free, something unusual for Camps Bay.
The other great news is that the villa and apartment rental rates in May, are low season rates so there are loads of bargains to be had.
The two bedroom Lion’s View Penthouse is available 2-5 May and the five bedroom Lion’s View Main House is available until 2 May 2014. www.lionsview.co.za
The one bedroom at our modern Ebb Tide apartments is available 25 – 30 April and the three bedroom from 26 April onwards. www.ebb-tide.co.za
Another great option is Bali Place, the luxurious four bedroom villa with a Jacuzzi, private swimming pool and fantastic views. www.baliplace.co.za
The three bedroom townhouse Dunkeld Village is available until 2 May 2014. www.campsbaystay.com
If you need more reason to visit Cape Town – here are a few great events happening over that time:
Air Supply – Greatest Hits Tour will take place on 24 April at the Grand Arena, Grand West.
The South African Cheese Festival takes place from 26-29 April at Sandringham, halfway between Cape Town and Paarl on the N1. http://www.cheesefestival.co.za/
Decorex Cape Town, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from Friday, 25 to Monday, 28 April 2014. www.cticc.co.za/event/decorex-cape-town
