Camps Bay Beach offers white sand and it is easily accessible with minimum stairs from the road to the beach. There is a MyCiti bus stop at the beach or you can take a taxi to Camps Bay.
Lying on the beach, you have the ocean in front of you and the looming Twelve Apostles & Lion’s Head as a back drop. If you start to feel peckish you only need to walk over the road where you have a choice of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. If that is too much trouble while on holiday in Camps Bay, you can call www.colcacchio.co.za and they will deliver soft drinks, pizza, pasta or salad to you on the beach.
Camps Bay beach is divided into 6 sections. On each section there is a trader licensed for deck chairs and cushions. Standard prices are +/- R30 each, for an umbrella and a chair or a cushion. They generally close at 6pm on hot days but earlier if the weather is not great.
Note that most of the traders selling sunglasses, wireworks etc are illegal, unlicensed traders.
