We have accommodation available in Camps Bay over New Year

Although we do not have a large variety of options still available, we do still have some villas and apartments available to rent in Camps Bay. We do require a minimum stay for accommodation over the Festive Season in Camps Bay. It is usually a 14 night rental. If you would like to rent a large luxurious villa, close to Camps Bay beach or a small studio apartment by Bakoven beach, let us know.  We have also been contacted by numerous villa owners in Camps Bay who would like us to rent out their houses over New Year.

Camps Bay is usually very busy over Christmas and New Year. The best option is to book a villa or apartment walking distance from the beach, as traffic can be a nightmare and parking near the beach and restaurants can be a problem.  A tip is to plan to go to the winelands on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day as the beaches in Cape Town become very busy. Otherwise enjoy a leisurely day by your swimming pool and have a typical South African BBQ.

Usually you are still able to book a table at a restaurant in Camps Bay for Christmas lunch or New Year quite last minute. It can be quite expensive over New Year but there are a lot of other options like welcoming in the New Year on Camps Bay beach (if it is not windy), watching fire works from the V&A Waterfront, going to Long Street (more for the young at heart).
