5 Things I like about winter in Camps Bay

Camps Bay or the Atlantic Seaboard is one of the warmest parts of Cape Town in the winter. Drive out to the suburbs and the mercury drops.

Swimming in the Camps Bay tidal pool. We are a bunch of crazy Camps Bay and Clifton peeps who swim in the tidal pool each morning. The water feels much warmer in winter than in summer and we all are energised for the rest of the day.

There is no traffic, the beaches are peaceful and there is no wind. With other words you can quickly drive down to Camps Bay beach, have a wonderful carefree walk on the beach and no chance of getting sandblasted.

Most of the Camps Bay restaurants have winter specials. Caprice offers two burgers for the price of one each Tuesday etc.

Wimbledon is on in July! You can watch matches in many of the Camps Bay Restaurants.
