Camps Bay beach is divided into 6 sections. On each section there is a trader licensed for deck chairs, umbrellas and cushions. They generally close at 6pm on hot days, weather dependant. Note that most of the traders selling sunglasses, wireworks, paintings etc are illegal, unlicensed traders.
CAR GUARDS
While most car guards mean well, understand that they are contravening the law. There is no obligation to give any money to a car guard. If you would like to, we recommend no more than R5 – R20.

A gentle reminder that guests are required to vacate the house by 10:00 on the day of departure.
If checking out early, please lock all the doors and leave the keys in the lock box.
Please do not throw the food away. The staff usually takes it or we drop it at the homeless shelter.
To guarantee an early arrival or late departure we charge 50% of the daily rate and then we block off the night before or after – subject to availability. If you prefer to take a chance and the property is available on the day for an early arrival or late departure we will be more then happy to accommodate you.

We like to work consciously with waste management for the benefit of nature.
Recycling: Glass, tin, paper and plastic goes into a clear recycle bag in the wire basket.
Vegetables and fruit peels go on the compost heap on the left of the wooden garden shed or in the bin under the basin.
Other rubbish goes in the bin under the basin or the black bin near the gate.
Rubbish collection – each Monday morning (you don’t need to do anything).
