Si Cantina is one of the favourite restaurants of my girlfriends and I. The food is fresh, healthy, locally sourced and where possible organic. The chef makes her own yoghurt and believes in the farm to table approach. We have been there when symphony concerts are held against the Zeitz Mocaa Museum wall and the atmosphere is amazing.
We always order:
The Grilled Mediterranean Chicken with chicken scallops topped with marinated tomatoes, roasted olives & fresh rocket. Finished with Pecorino & creamy yoghurt, herb & olive relish.
The Raw Green Salad with spinach, alfalfa sprouts, broccoli, fine beans, celery, apples, rocket, micro leaves, toasted pine nuts, toasted pumpkin seeds, avocado with a hummus matcha dressing.
Last night we also had the Meatballs, Napoli sauce & Pecorino shavings on flatbread.
As usual, the food was delicious. Trevor our waiter was attentive and friendly. We love the décor with hanging plants, murals, beautiful glass light fittings and our favourite to place to sit is in one of the old fashioned booths at the back.
If you are looking for healthy, tasty food, Si Cantina is definitely an excellent choice. Their breakfast menu includes all the super foods, juices, shots, milk alternatives etc. Perfect for the health conscious, or vegan, or just anyone who enjoys fresh, healthy food.
