It was as if that cabbage had 9 lives. Phew! At last it is finished. But saying that, the cabbage dishes I made were very tasty. If I see another cabbage on my next shop outing, I will definitely buy it. Red cabbage is so good for you and it brightens up any salad. Asian salad with red cabbage is delicious.
I chopped up the cabbage, and fried it with loads of garlic (no socializing, so who cares), chili flakes and onion.
I then made a béchamel sauce and mix it with cabbage, spring onion, sprinkle strong cheddar on top and bake it in the oven.
It is comforting and delicious. Similar to mac and cheese but a little bit more healthy.
