Paul and the guys at Tamboerswinkel are always so friendly and the food is great. My favourite dish is a ¼ chicken and salad, the chicken and a slice of bread are served on a sheet of paper on a wooden board. The salad is dished up in a tea cup on the side, I usually order the roast veg and pesto salad and there is a small bowl of chilli mayonnaise.

Chris opened Lazari in 2003 and is forever packed and very popular with the locals. I always order the Thai chicken wrap. Their brownies and cupcakes are excellent.

The tables are on the pavement and hidden away in the beautiful suburb of Tamboerskloof. Their sandwiches are delicious as well as their freshly baked pastries. This is a fair weather lunch spot.
