Cycling the Camino Portugues: Redondela to Caldas de Reis
Arrived at Pontevedra, my destination for the day at 10:00. Decided to push on. My old stubborn mule bicycle has become an extension of myself. I have got to know her moods. She behaves well on the tecnical single track (even with her heavy panniers) so I am happy. My butt is either used to the saddle now or just totally numb.
So ended up in Caldas de Reis.
Met Jorge from Madeira, on the square and he was so kind to buy me a few drinks.
Stayed at Albergue y Cafe Timonel – private room with shared bathroom for only 12 Euro.
