Have you ever savored a glass of wine in a Camps Bay restaurant while admiring the sunset and suddenly your thoughts are interrupted by a group of buskers prompting you for a tip. Or taken visitors to a Camps Bay coffee shop for a meeting and just when you start discussing something important, six gum boot dancers appear and start shouting, blowing on whistles and stamping their feet?

The city of Cape Town is planning to build a busking area on the Camps Bay promenade where tourists can sit and watch street performers. I think this is a great idea. Some of these guys are really talented and it will be splendid entertainment for tourists who chooses to watch them perform.
