3 Bed Strathmore House
This is one of my favorite houses to rent in Camps Bay. The perfect entertainment spot or just relax around the pool and enjoy the 180 degree view of the ocean and the mountain.
Features of the 3 bedroom Strathmore House
The expansive main bedroom has a king size bed and marvelous sea views. It has a large twin en-suite bathroom — (with shower, bath, bidet, heated towel rails and hairdryer) safe, dressing room, air conditioning and satellite TV. Tall sliding doors lead out to a private garden. Antiques from India enhance the room.
The second bedroom comes fitted with king size bed, en-suite bathroom– (with bath, shower and heated towel rail,) hairdryer, under tile heating, air conditioning in bedroom and satellite TV. The 2nd bedroom also leads out to a private garden with beautiful sea views.
The third bedroom has a queen size bed, en-suite bathroom (bath, shower and heated towel rail, hairdryer, in bedroom air conditioning, desk and satellite TV, with own private courtyard.
Marble slab forms the hand basin, with antique Indian door.
TV lounge and dining area
The main lounge area is equipped with large flat screen TV, DVD player, satellite channels, ipod docking station and state of-the-art home theatre system. This is complemented with a gas fireplace, air conditioning (heats and cools) and underfloor heating throughout. There are two plush three-seater couches and an antique 10-seater dining table leading to pool and patio area and additional fern-fringed patio next to a koi pond.
Fully-retractable sliding doors offer 180-degree Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain views leading to patio and pool area. Lounge has gas fireplace and lovely wooden floors. Underfloor heating. Luxurious velvet couches and wonderful art and artifacts from the owners’ overseas travels enhance the room.
Patio and Pool area
The main and entertainment lounge enters out onto the spacious patio and pool area. Equipped with gas BBQ, comfortable couches and reclining chairs. Pool is solar heated and if warm reaches about 28-30 degrees.
The large open-plan kitchen comes fitted with a catering size oven, gas and electric stove, convection microwave, double fridge and double freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and coffee machine . A large working space ensures effortless entertaining and air conditioning.
The home is fully-alarmed. Access to the property is via an elevator that comes directly from street or the garage. Double-garage and driveway ensure ample room for safe, off-street parking. Throughout the house there is wireless internet and an intercom system. CCTV above entrance allows you to view visitors before they access the property.
Housekeeping Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Cleaning on Saturdays at R300 per day and Sundays at R400 per day – if required.
Five minute walk to Camps Bay beach and restaurants.
