Pumba Private Game Reserve is situated in the Eastern Cape near Grahamstown. This is a malaria-free area.

The lodge offers 5 star luxury accommodation with a mini bar in the room, great views from the bedroom and bathroom, complimentary loan of binoculars and bird books, a private deck and plunge pool etc. Pumba Water Lodge overlooks a lake and you hear the hippos while sleeping at night. Pumba Bush Lodge has a spa and a gym but the staff will happily drive you to Bush Lodge for a treatment, workout or if you would like a change of scenery for lunch.

Pumba Private Game Reserve boasts the Big 5 as well as white lions and black wildebeest – animals you rarely see in other reserves.
