We have been fortunate enough to stay in the 3 bedroom and the 1 bedroom apartment at Ebb Tide several times and both have been simply fabulous, they are both spacious and luxurious with every mod con needed for a comfortable stay. We are always torn between going out to explore Cape Town and staying home with a glass of wine and the spectacular uninterrupted view of the ocean, you'd be hard pressed to find a better position or view in Camps Bay! Another great feature is that the apartments are within walking distance of the Camps Bay shopping precinct which has a great selection of restaurants, so we walk everyday and always feel like we've had a real break from the hustle and bustle of fighting traffic in Joburg. In our experience nothing compares to Ebb Tide, we are ruined forever! We could never stay anywhere else!

Balfour Place is a magnificent residence with definite wow factor - luxurious accommodation in a quiet setting with views of both the coast and mountains that take your breath away and yet only a 3 minute walk down to the promenade with all of the cafes and restaurants.
We stayed a whole month and were extremely happy and comfortable there.
We were warmly received from the moment we arrived by the young woman managing the property who couldn't do enough for us and who provided an excellent service with friendly and efficient staff throughout our stay.
I couldn't recommend this property more highly and would go back there in an instant - in fact my husband is returning to Balfour Place for a few days during the World Cup and I'm extremely jealous!

We decided to have a family reunion and booked the Lion's View main house together with the penthouse as we were 14 people. We had family from australia, England and Johannesburg come together. Every evening we had a chef cook a wonderful meal for us at home and we enjoyed the beautiful interior and fantastic view while having great dinners out in the garden. The staff were fantastic! Elize was extremely helpfull and accommodating and just couldnt do enough for us. The location from the house is excellent as it is in a quiet cul de sac and walking distance to the beach and restaurants and bars. I will recommend this villa to anyone coming to visit with a large group of people - but also even any number of people from 2 until 14.

Dunkeld Village: A perfect getaway to wind down. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and just a stone's throw away from the sea.
Close to great bars and restaurants and fine dining to suit all tastebuds. Lots of activities and sights to explore just wish I had more time on this trip so definitely will be back for more !

The moment we entered Balfour Place, we knew we had made the right decision on where to stay. All the rooms are modernly styled and spacious, but have all retained a classic character making you feel instantly at ease. We were met by a lovely lady who managed the house, providing us with friendly, discreet and excellent service.

During the day, the pool was a perfect outdoor feature, whether to swim in, lie beside or eat beside. We spent our early evenings drinking wine on the balconies looking across the sea or Table Mountain as the sun set.

The overall location of the house is excellent too. Inside the house, you feel totally away from it all, yet it's only a 3 or 4 minute walk from all the beautiful shops, bars and restaurants of Camps Bay.

Travelling as a group can have its complications, but Balfour Place made everything easy. The en-suite rooms meant we all had adequate privacy and space to relax.

I would go back to stay in Balfour Place in a second and highly recommend it as the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful holiday.
