Restaurant Review: Foxcroft

Foxcraft is the brainchild of Eat Out, San Pellegrino Chef of the Year, Scot Kirton, and the La Colombe pastry chef Glen Williams. Carla and I decided to celebrate her birthday with a meal at Foxcraft. We sipped on bubbly while trying to make the very difficult decision of choosing what to eat.

We ordered the following:

Tapas:
Seared Tuna Tataki
Farmer Kob
Venison Tartare
Honey-glazed fig

Main courses:
Linefish with confit potato, rye and dill veloute
Oak Valley Pork with gemsquash, charred cabbage and fermented plum

Dessert:
Mango, Chocolate, Madras
Compressed Strawberry

The food was as usual, very very good. The only dish which was not to my palate was the Madras dessert. I guess, I like my madras with a curry as main course, I know – very boring.  The service was excellent. The setting was beautiful, we sat outside and it was a lovely day.

I can highly recommend Foxcraft to all the lovers of fine dining.
