My 3 favourite walks near Camps Bay
Camps Bay to Green Point Contour
1 hour 45 minutes, One-way, Dogs allowed.
The start is at the hairpin bend on Kloof road from Kloof Nek to Clifton. The first few minutes of the walk requires some effort. The rest is mostly flat overlooking Camps Bay and Clifton. You will need to arrange for someone to pick you up on the other side or you can walk back to Camps Bay.
The Pipe Track
3 hours, Dogs allowed.
The start is at Kloof Nek, on the steps next to the fire hazard board. In summer I suggest you walk early in the morning while there is still shade. It is a pleasant stroll offering wonderful views of Camps Bay. It will take 1.5 hours to where the pipe track ends and less to get back.
Llandudno to Oudeschip
2 hours 45 minutes, Dogs allowed.
The walk starts at the Southern end of Llandudno, past Sandy Bay (the nudist beach), into the bushes and then along the coastal path until you get to the rocky peninsula of Oudeschip. You are able to see the shipwrecks from here and this is where you turn around to walk back. I will suggest that you go in a group as there might be homeless people living in the bushes.
